AI-First Environmental Intelligence

One Platform. Connected Environmental Decisions.

Screen, assess, verify, offset and monitor through a shared intelligence workflow, with specialist AI and geospatial data working together.

The Workflow

From Early Risk to Ongoing Evidence.

01

Screen

Identify site constraints and opportunities

02

Assess

Bring evidence and analysis into one workflow

03

Verify

Capture field observations on site with the companion app and connect them to source data

04

Offset

Explore relevant biodiversity offset pathways

05

Monitor

Track environmental change and outcomes

Under the Hood

Purpose-Built for Environmental Intelligence.

Curated Environmental Data

NSW Plant Community Types and state vegetation mapping, threatened species and ecological community records, CAPAD protected areas and IBRA bioregions, Indigenous Protected Areas, fire and clearing history, and climate projections, ready to query against any boundary.

Capi: Specialist AI

Explore evidence, surface patterns and support analysis with an AI interface designed for the domain. Capi answers only from governed data in your workspace and cites its sources.

Spatial Knowledge Controls

Australian data residency on Google Cloud, audit-logged and tamper-evident records, role-based access to the dataset, and Indigenous data sovereignty controls aligned to the CARE principles.

In the Platform

What You Work With.

Define the Site
Edit Location and Boundaries: a cadastral boundary near Rylstone drawn on satellite imagery, with options to select official NSW lots or draw a building footprint
Run an Assessment
An assessment with Capi identifying eligible ecosystem and species credits for the boundary
Compare Layers
Layer slider comparing NSW vegetation communities pre-1750 on the left with today on the right across the assessment boundary
Monitor Change
Vegetation Cover assessment with NDVI over the boundary and a seasonal-change chart
Govern Access
Permission Management: dataset access toggles per organisation for NSW vegetation, NVIS and IUCN Global Ecosystem Typology layers

Assessment Types

One Boundary. Many Questions.

Every assessment runs against the same boundary, data and governance. Available today:

Biodiversity

Plant community types, threatened species and ecological communities, native vegetation extent, and ecosystem and species credit eligibility.

Offset Sites

Find like-for-like offset sites for a development footprint, matched on plant community type and condition.

Vegetation Cover

NDVI, NDWI and NDBI over the boundary, with month-by-month seasonal change, spatial spread and cloud-affected months flagged, for tracking vegetation health over time.

Climatic Risk Profile

Climate exposure and vulnerability for the site, summarised with the assessment.

In Development

Further assessment types are being built and tested with pilot customers: fire and flood risk; weeds and biosecurity; regenerative planting plans; and ecosystem corridor analysis with migratory path overlays. Each will be listed here as it becomes available.

Companion App

Desktop for Analysis. Mobile for the Field.

Assessments are planned and reported on the desktop. Evidence is gathered on site with the companion app for iOS and Android, and synced back beside the data it checks.

Sample Plots You Can Return To

Random plots, stratified by plant community type, shown on the map against your position. The same plots are surveyed every visit, which is what makes longitudinal monitoring possible.

Observations With Context

Not just "a Caley’s grevillea" but one photographed flowering at 18.4 °C on a sunny day, 100 m above sea level on a hillside, in clay-loam, with excellent air quality and no light pollution. Temperature, weather, topography, geology and climate are attached to every record.

Nxt7a companion app: zones by plant community type with numbered sample plots on the satellite map, GPS accuracy, boundary status, track recording and heading
Nxt7a companion app: add a photo observation or a sound recording to the site
Nxt7a companion app: a synced Striped Marsh Frog observation with a 7-second sound recording and species suggestions ranked by confidence, 71% for Limnodynastes peronii

Capture · Verify · Sync · Report

Capi, the Nxt7a AI agent, answering a question over the IBRA threatened species table: 53 threatened species in the Warrego Sands subregion, returned as a table with scientific name, common name and NSW status, with the source table named
Human Expertise Matters

AI-Supported, Not Black-Box Decisions.

Environmental decisions require context, traceability and expert judgement. Nxt7a is designed to support the people accountable for those decisions, not replace them.
